Kitchen faucets are a common type of faucet, usually installed on the sink in the kitchen for purposes like washing, cooking, drinking water etc. Choosing and installing a faucet requires considering many factors, such as the size, shape, number of holes, position of stop valve/angle valve, height, length, function, material, style of the sink etc.
If you want to replace or install a new faucet, you don’t necessarily need to hire a plumber. You can DIY by simply following the steps below. You can save time and money, while enjoying the convenience and comfort brought by your new faucet. In this tutorial, I will teach you how to replace and install a faucet, and give you some handy tips. Let’s get started!

0. Unpack the included installation fittings

1.1 Prepare tools

1.2 Remove the old faucet
- Before removing the old faucet, please first turn off the corresponding stop valve/angle valve to prevent water from splashing.
- Use proper tools (such as wrench) to remove the old faucet in the reverse order of the installation steps below.
2. Insert the included gasket and bolt into the installation hole at the faucet bottom, and tighten the bolt.

3. Connect the flexible hose/mesh hose to the corresponding hot and cold water inlet of the faucet.
3.1 The hot and cold faucet requires two flexible hoses/mesh hoses connected to two angle valves respectively to control hot and cold water flow.
3.2 The angle valve connector size should match the existing angle valve at site. Generally 3/8 or 1/2 inch. Reuse existing hoses if just replacing faucet, no need to purchase new ones.
3.3 If new hoses needed, can indicate the required hose and angle valve size with order. We offer hoses in various lengths and sizes, each at HKD9 only. Hose lengths available: 8/10/12/14/16/18/20 inches. Angle valve connector sizes available: 3/8 or 1/2 inch.


4. Place a gasket at the faucet bottom and install the faucet into the sink hole.

5. Similarly place a gasket below the sink, then use the nut to secure the bolt. Tighten the nut with a wrench to fix the faucet onto the sink.



6. Finally connect the flexible hose/mesh hose to the angle valve on the wall.


7. Congratulations! You have successfully installed the faucet!
